Origalys teaching prize

On the occasion of the Jounées d'Électrochimie, OrigaLys, with the Electrochemistry Group of the French Chemical Society (SCF), awards the “Practical Teaching of Electrochemistry” prize.

This award encourages innovation in the field of electrochemistry education and supports the training of future researchers with research equipment. The award ceremony will take place during the Journées d'Électrochimie 2026 in Nancy.

For this edition, Origalys is showcasing its new mini-potentiostat, a compact instrument that offers high-quality practical work while guaranteeing excellent value for money. 

The prize, worth €10,000 including tax, includes:

  • A mini potentiostat ±50mA/±2V,
  • A rotating electrode with tips and a pad holder
  • A thermostatically controlled cell and its reference/auxiliary electrodes.

“Our goal is to make practical work in electrochemistry accessible to all thanks to equipment manufactured in France and guaranteed for 5 years. With this initiative, we want to encourage and facilitate the learning of electrochemistry.”

Applications are open from February 26 to May 22, 2026.
